TRR Participates in ITRA Instructor/Evaluator Workshop
The pursuit of knowledge and industry advancement is a never ending journey for TRR.
This week that journey lead Colin LeGrow to Rotterdam, Netherlands to participate in a Rope Rescue Instructor/Assessor workshop with the International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA). Participants from all over the globe gathered to share ideas, learn together and have skills/knowledge assessed by subject matter experts.
TRR has been a member of ITRA since 2018. ITRA shares our values, some of which include a defined development pathway, continuous learning requirements and peer assessment for rescue instructors along with skills requirements and independent evaluation of rescue practitioners.
When we work with global industry peers that share the same values things really take on a different level of importance and validity. Plus it’s really exciting.
We believe our participation in ITRA will improve access to a more suitable and defensible method of skill verification for both us as training/rescue service providers and our clients, industrial rescue practitioners.
Ask us about how you can take another step in industrial emergency response due diligence by participating in ITRA.
