Including the addition of our brand new world class rescue simulator, we’re very excited to announce 3 brand new rescue training courses that will provide our clients with one of the most comprehensive suite of industrial rescue course offerings in the country.

Advanced Industrial Rescue for Rope Access Technicians
Rope Access Technicians typically have advanced knowledge of work at height and rope systems. They can get to places previously thought inaccessible. These skills can be highly valuable in planning and execution of rescues when complimented with emergency response training and experience.
This course is specifically designed for certified Rope Access Technicians who are interested in applying their rope skillset to team based industrial emergency response. Participants will build on existing knowledge and learn to effectively contribute as a member of a high angle and confined space industrial rescue team. Scenarios covered will include advanced confined space and rope rescue skills involving a high degree of patient packaging and care.
Any certified Rope Access Technician who would like to take part as an auxiliary emergency response team member may take part in this course. Separately, participants should take part in advanced confined space entry and advanced first aid training as these principles are not covered in this program.
Join us for this unique program and build on the skills you already have while learning a new discipline through working together on a series of complex rescue challenges.
Advanced Industrial Rescue
This course is the next step for already certified and experienced Industrial Rescue Technicians who want to build on their skill set and learn to accomplish more technically difficult rescues with smaller team sizes. It is designed to provide participants with the advanced technical rescue skills required for complex work scopes and scenarios.
Participants will be introduced to new equipment and the techniques necessary for rescues from non-routine high-angle and confined space environments.
This course aims to address the following rescue challenges:
- Limited anchorage options
- Small crew size
- Advanced patient care during transport
- Difficult access to the patient
- Advanced work positioning and structural climbing using fall protection
- Navigating obstacles and difficult edge transitions
- Maneuvering/lifting in constricted confined spaces
Industrial Rescue Team Lead
The Rescue Lead is responsible for planning, directing rescue operations and ensuring a continuous state of operational readiness for the team. In order to do this effectively, team leads should possess strong supervisor skills, advanced training, years of experience and a safety-focused mindset. This course is designed to teach active or potential Rescue Team Leads the skills necessary to coordinate and lead other competent Industrial Rescue Technicians through effective practices and high-stress rescue scenarios.
This course will zero in on critical rescue leadership skills such as:
- Advanced Rescue Pre-Planning considerations and rescue plan development
- Effective team planning and member selection
- Equipment selection, benefits and limitations
- Emergency Response Risk Assessments before and during rescue events
- Contingency planning and rescue problem solving
- Rescuer preparedness and competency evaluation
- Conducting Effective Rescue Practices and training sessions
