Our new “Towards a Respectful Workplace” training, is designed to provide participants with new tools to help create a more positive and safer work environment, while also ensuring you meet the requirements of the new legislation that becomes effective as of January 2020.
Under the new legislation, employers are now responsible for providing training on harassment prevention and a harassment prevention plan. This training exceeds the requirements of the new legislation by providing in-depth information and practical applications. We want to not only help you meet the requirements, but also to equip you and your workforce with the knowledge and information to develop a sustainably positive environment.
While there’s still much to be learned, there have been recent studies that draw a connection to positive employees, with a safer and more productive workforce. That’s a win win situation!
These courses will provide workers, management and supervisory personnel with an understanding of the requirements and legislative changes, and how it pertains to their roles and responsibilities. It will provide participants a chance to take part in skill-building exercises to learn how to effectively prevent bullying, harassment, and discrimination, and provide management and supervisors, with tools to appropriately intervene and manage incidents involving co-workers and employees.
Open enrolment course seats will be scheduled monthly in 2020, and you can always book a group session just for your workplace by giving us a call at (709) 335-2325
